It has been very helpful to deal with a manager of the estate, which includes not only our residents but also owner occupiers and residents of another housing association who understand the importance of working with residents and partner organisations. We have found it useful to be able to work together to plan improvements to life in the area and also to have the support of an organisation which is interested in helping us perform our management services more effectively.
