Licence to Sublet
We are now proactively managing sites and trying to take them forward but one area that, historically, we have been reactive on is with sublets. If we are going to make a difference then we need to know what and who are subletting. The benefits are that we have a better knowledge of when people move in and out of the properties from the dates on the ASTs, we can identify if someone is causing a nuisance and if the investor doesn’t pay service charge, we can have rent diverted to pay the service charge which benefits all in the running of the block. Therefore, by enforcing part of your lease terms, we believe it can only aid in ensuring we improve and enhance your site.
