Keeping a "virtual" eye on the development.

Case Study: Jenny Ray
Development - Landmark Heights

Jenny Ray lives in Oxfordshire, and has owned an apartment at Landmark Heights for 4 years. Jenny rents it out on a long-term lease.

Having considered refusing to pay the service charge to her previous managing agents due to the appalling service and lack of communication, Jenny says she has been very impressed by Chainbow.

"Chainbow are excellent at communicating with owners. They keep you updated on everything that affects owners, which being a non-resident owner is even more important. Their website, in particular, helps you to keep a "virtual" eye on the development.

For example, my tenants installed a satellite dish on the balcony of the apartment, which isn’t allowed under the terms of the leasehold. Chainbow wrote to the tenants and sent copies of the correspondence to me; I knew at every step what was happening.

I was particularly impressed that Chainbow managed to negotiate a compromise, which involved the tenants moving the dish inside the balcony railings, avoiding the unsightliness, which was the issue.

The improvements that Chainbow has made at Landmark Heights will hopefully help attract good quality tenants in the future."
