Chainbow’s 21st Birthday
Recently Chainbow celebrated its 21st Birthday with a birthday cake ‘bake-off’ challenge. Staff donned their pinnies to create the perfect birthday cake for the company and a smorgasbord of cakes, flans, muffins, slices, biscuits and other desserts was produced. The baked treats were also sold to benefit the children’s research charity, Sparks. Just over £188 was raised from the sale.
Chairman Roger Southam reflected, “Chainbow has grown from strength to strength each year. We survived through two recessions, four prime ministers, and hopefully a fifth soon, and the growing shift towards online business. I am proud of the Chainbow team for striving to go above and beyond the call of duty to help homeowners improve what’s likely to be their most important asset, their homes. Staff members fiercely vied for the title of ‘Pinny Pin-up 2010’ which was won by property manager Niccie Storr.”
